Bookkeeper and CPA
A CPA ensures your taxes pass the health inspection. We ensure your daily food costs, labor, and margins are tracked perfectly so you actually have profit left to protect.
Many owners want their CPA to handle everything, and that works for some restaurants. A dedicated restaurant bookkeeper usually serves you better, for four reasons:
POS sales, tips, payroll, delivery fees and prime cost are handled every month by someone who works only with restaurants.
Bookkeeping is monthly work. CPA firms are busiest from January through April, which is when your books can slip.
CPA time is generally priced higher than bookkeeping time. Keeping routine monthly work with a bookkeeper saves your CPA’s hours for tax planning and filing.
When the person who keeps the books isn’t the one who files your taxes, each can catch the other’s mistakes.
Your CPA stays your CPA. We keep the books and coordinate with them at year end, so they start from clean financials. We don’t prepare tax returns.

Most restaurants benefit from both. A dedicated bookkeeper keeps your books accurate every month, and your CPA files your taxes and advises on tax strategy. We coordinate with your CPA at year end.
